AIGA Pittsburgh Awards $1,000 College and University Enrichment Scholarship
AIGA Pittsburgh awarded its inaugural $1,000 AIGA Pittsburgh Enrichment Scholarship to Charles Kacsur, a senior at California University of Pennsylvania.
The AIGA Pittsburgh Enrichment Scholarship supports and encourages diversity in design education by providing students with the opportunity to expand their educational experience through special programs offered by accredited institutions in the U.S. and abroad.
AIGA Pittsburgh invited full-time matriculating junior, senior, and graduate level design students of accredited design programs in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia to enter the scholarship competition. The applicants were evaluated on basis of the strength of their portfolio, transcript & letter of recommendation by local design professionals Laurie Mizrahi (Mizrahi Design), Dennis Moran (Dennis Moran Design) and John Sotirikas (ThoughtForm).
Recipient Charles Kacsur was awarded a one-time $1,000 scholarship to be applied to his design education and professional development.
Congratulations, Charles, and best of luck on your future endeavors!
