
The 2007 Context jury includes three nationally and internationally recognized judges. Their work represents a diverse cross section of design from global corporate communications to broadcast design. Connie Birdsall and Kenna Kay currently serve on the AIGA national board of directors and Rick Valicenti is a 2006 AIGA Medalist.
The panel will visit Pittsburgh in late January to review submitted entries.

Connie leads the design practice at Lippincott, a leading brand strategy and design consultancy based in New York. Her experience encompasses twenty years of creating global corporate and brand identity programs; marketing communications systems; developing information design, launch and implementation programs; and developing tools required for successful brand management.
Vice President and Creative Director
TV Land/Nick at Nite
Kenna is the vice president/creative director at TV Land, a division of the MTV Networks Entertainment Group. She directs a team of in-house designers and animators, along with out-of-house studios and freelancers, to produce print, three-dimensional items, multimedia and motion graphics. Kenna has received numerous Broadcast Design awards, including recognition from Promax, Print, Communication Arts, HOW, the Art Directors Club and D&AD.
Founder, Thirst
Rick is the founder and design director of Thirst, a communication design firm devoted to art, function and real human presence. His work is included in the permanent collection of The Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum and has garnered awards from AR100, Graphis, Communication Arts, Print, New York Art Directors Club, ACD100 and ID Magazine, among others.
