Join the Pittsburgh chapters of AIGA and AIA for PechaKucha Night: Student & Faculty Edition. Thursday, February 2. PKN is an event for local creatives to meet and network while presenters share their stories, collections, products or work in 6 minutes and 40 seconds of exquisitely matched words and images. Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of conversation ("chit chat"), it rests on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It's a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
We are currently seeking student and faculty presenters. PKN is a casual, fun event and would be a great way for students and faculty to practice their presentation skills in front of a live audience.
To be a presenter: Please submit a brief description of your presentation idea & an image you will include to info@aiapgh.org by Friday, January 27.
