AIGA Pittsburgh’s PGH365 2012 event was held on March 22 and showcased 315 entries of design work submitted from the region’s most talented professionals and students. The entries ranged from print campaigns, publications, posters, websites and multimedia which demonstrated the designer’s role, process and the value of design to the community.
PGH365 2012 had a record turnout of attendees who had the opportunity to view the design entries and were entertained thanks in part to the many sponsors: AIGA Pittsburgh, Bearded, Guardian Storage, Lindenmeyr Munroe, Kreider Printing, Commonwealth Press, Renee Rosensteel, DJ Fernando Hammer, East End Brewing Company, Laser Lab Studio and Giant Eagle.
The judges, Brian Boyl, Director of Interactive Design Art Center College of Design, Robin Tooms, Principal of Brand and Interactive Strategy of Savage and AIGA National Board Member and Richard Turley, Creative Director of Bloomberg BusinessWeek, chose 56 selected pieces of work of the 315 entries.
