For this year’s Ugly Sweater Party AIGA Pittsburgh partnered up with the Pittsburgh chapter of ASMP, American Society of Media Photographers. The American Society of Media Photographers is the premier trade association for the world’s most respected photographers. ASMP is the leader in promoting photographers’ rights, providing education in better business practices, producing business publications for photographers, and helping to connect clients with professional photographers. ASMP, founded in 1944, has nearly 7,000 members and 39 chapters.

The party was a hit! The evening was well spent with over 30 attendees talking shop and enjoying some brews at Southern Tier on the North Shore. This was the first event between AIGA and ASMP. The two creative groups plan to work together on future events on how designers and photographers can work better together in the industry.
