The only requirement to join the Pittsburgh Lettering Club is that you be madly in love with letterforms. Which might explain why for all the graffiti artists, sign painters, calligraphers and type designers who attend their bi-monthly meetings, just as many show up having never before held a brush.

AIGA National Design Conference attendees are invited to join our local letter-heads for a fun and casual open studio for all ability levels. Make a protest sign, try your hand at calligraphy, create a monogram, or just take the opportunity to meet others and talk shop. There will be live demos, art supplies, booze and snacks.
